Requirements

Sizes: 46" x 62" (6 blocks); 62" x 62" (9 blocks); 62" x 78" (12 blocks); 80" x 96" (20 blocks)

Each Block Requires: (16" finished blocks)
FOUR different 2 1/2" strips
1/4 yd background fabric
Tip: strips are not limited to 2 1/2"

Requirements for quilts:
1/2 [3/4; 1; 1 1/2] yds each of four fabrics OR 24 [36; 48; 80] 2 1/2" strips (4 per block)
1 1/2 [2 1/4; 3; 5] yds of background fabric*
3/8 [3/8; 1/2; 1/2] yd fabric for first border
1 [1 1/8;1 3/8; 1 5/8] yd fabric for second border
Batting & backing fabric at least 4" larger than quilt size
1/2 yd binding fabric
Thread for piecing and quilting
Freezer Paper (optional)
General quilting supplies
6 1/2" and 16 1/2" square rulers recommended

*Checkerboard effect requires two background fabrics as follows:
3/4 [1 1/4; 1 1/2; 2 1/2] yds background one and 3/4 [1; 1 1/2; 2 1/2] yds background two.
