Woodland Quilt is 40" x 48" (crib/cot quilt) or 55" x 82" (single bed) however instructions include adjustments for any size you desire to make. Use traditional piecing techniques or free-form modern techniques to create the background. This cute quilt displays Mama fox watching on while baby fox darts between the trees or nestles down for a nap. 

This quilt can be made to omit the applique if desired. Pattern includes full-sized templates and quilting instructions.

**Note: ½ yd pieces may vary in size and number of fabrics as long as you render
approximately the following amounts:
Background Fabric: 1½ yds (crib) or 2½ yds (single)
Tree Brown Fabric: 2 yd (single)

Fox Fabric: 13" x 10" (momma fox); 10" x 5" (running fox); 7" x 4" (sleeping fox)
White: 12" x 10"
Small amounts of dark brown (tips of ears, paws), pink/brown (inside ears), black
(eyes, nose)
Leaves: 5-6 strips 2½" x ½WOF (crib) or WOF (single) in various greens
Fusible webbing approximately ½ yd (crib) or 1 yd (single)
Thread to match applique fabrics plus darker thread for outlining
Batting and backing fabric 4-6" larger than background
Binding or Facing fabric
