This lap or single bed quilt includes several different techniques used including blanket stitch applique, foundation piecing, machine embroidery and dimensional applique. You will not only make 20 beautiful different blocks but also learn the many techniques used from basic patchwork to set-in seams and quilting.

Part ONE: Make hearts, trees, sheep & apple with grub blocks. Learn how to use fusible webbing and machine blanket stitch applique
Part TWO: Make Square in a Square blocks, Flying Geese block, Geese Block and Rooster Block. Learn foundation piecing techniques.
Part THREE: Make pieced Star block, Barn block and Butterfly panel. Learn advanced foundation piecing and basic piecing techniques.
Part FOUR: Make Beehive block, Cat block, Snail block, Cow block, Calf & Owl block and Wheelbarrow block. Learn free-motion stitching and machine embroidery techniques.
Part FIVE: Make Scarecrow block with mushrooms and 3-d sunflowers. Learn how to set-in a block and dimensional applique.
Part SIX: Make Pig block, Horse block and add additional appliques. Join all blocks together and learn how to add borders including a pieced border with heart and star applique blocks. Learn quilting techniques and finishing off your quilt.
